One of the students asked me what “どんなときも（donna toki mo)” means last night. It remind me of a famous Japanese song called”どんなときも. It’s my favorite song! どんなときも literally means “whenever”or “at any time” but I should say it’s more like “No matter what happens”.

Nanimo iwazu ni sugu soba ni iru yo, donna toki mo.
(no matter if you are right or not, or no matter how it would be difficult to be on your side. I always be on your side)
