★きをつけて★kiotsukete★( Please take care)
I think everybody is influenced by the hurricane these past couple of days, shopping for many things, sleepless night at the shelters, etc……… but we cannot do anything with nature. “Shikataganai”(しかたがない/ That’s life. remember this word? I posted it before as a word of the week) I went to the office this morning, and my husband was worried if something would happen. In Japan, we say “kiotsukete” ( きをつけて/plain form: kiotsukeru) in this situation, It means please take care. We can use “kiotsukete” in many situations like, if you catch a cold, or when we leave the house, etc. “Please take care of yourself”, “Please take care and be safe”……something like that.
