
O-bon is one of the Buddhist ceremony for ancestors in Japan. We believe the spirits of our ancestors come back to our home in this period( 8/13-16). These 4 days are not listed as public holidays, but many companies close forO-bon, and spend with family members.
We could see Bon-Odori (ぼんおどり)here and there. This is the dance to welcome the spirits of the dead.
I could see my father who passed away 9 years ago, isn’t it cool? haha
